An encroachment permit is required for all work conducted on public roads, alleyways, or within the public right-of-way in the City of Lawndale. This requirement ensures that all activities are performed safely and in accordance with city regulations. Minimum Requirements for an Encroachment Permit
- Sketch/Plans with a description of the scope of work.
- A City of Lawndale business license.
- Valid and applicable Contractor's State License.
- Valid liability insurance covering General Liability of at least $1,000,000 with the City additionally insured and named.
- Current Worker's Compensation Policy, $1,000,000.
